LSK provides technical assistance in the takeover, renovation or building of food facilities.  The LSK 1.0 section of the website can show you our first case study, our own Kitchen build-out in a 1913 mixed-use building in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.  LSK was certified LEED Gold in May 2010.

Putting clients at ease through unfamiliar territory is just as important at achieving the project objectives.  Services include all aspects of project management in design, construction, and placing building in service.  Budget tracking, cash forecasting & disbursement, coordination of all professional service providers, contract review and facilitiation, and internal reporting are all areas where we can take the load off.

While we welcome any type of food facility, we excel at the unusual or challenging adaptive reuse of existing real estate.  Shared kitchens, small batch processors, community or municipal facilities-- all these have unique visions and needs in our new food system.  We love the unusual and innovative, and have experience in how to structure the project putting it on the road to financial sustainability.
