Last Wednesday was Great Big Crane Day. We’re editing a video to post shortly. The crane lifted and placed our roof-top equipment, which will heat, cool, and properly ventilate our space. Here are before and after pictures of the kitchen roof. The first shows our empty roof last winter. The bottom of the 2nd photo shows our two heating/cooling units, about 900 pounds each. At the far end of the roof are Make-Up-Air units; they replace the air the kitchen exhaust hoods draw out. Those exhaust fans are in-between.

It was a great sight to see. Our job had the challenges of a narrow alley, two sets of power lines, and equipment sitting over 60 feet back from the crane and truck in the alley. But Chas.Bender, our contractor, and LaGrange Crane made it all happen. Thanks fellas, there would be no kitchen without you!.
